Flower Care After Delivery

Upon receiving your silk flower arrangements, it's possible that they may have become slightly crumpled during transit. Don't worry! Follow these steps to restore their fullness:

  1. Gently Unpacking:

  • Carefully remove the silk flowers from their packaging, taking care not to damage the delicate petals, leaves, or stems. Slowly untie any ribbons or securing materials, allowing the arrangement to unfold naturally.

  1. Fluffing and Shaping:

  • Once unpacked, gently fluff and shape the flowers to restore their original appearance. Gently separate any petals that may have become stuck together or pressed during transit. Use your fingers to gently bend and shape the stems and foliage to achieve a more full look.
  • If some bends still persist, please use a clothing steamer or hair dryer on low to medium settings to warm up the flowers.
  • Feel free to use a clothing iron on the cloth bouquet ribbons.

  

Maintenance and Storage Recommendations

To keep your silk flowers looking vibrant and full until your wedding or event, please avoid storing them in these conditions:

  1. Dust: 

To avoid dust accumulating on the flowers, we recommend storing them in airtight containers, plastic bags or garment bags until your event.

If your flowers arrived with dust remnants, please use a feather duster or a hairdryer to blow off the dust prior to storage.

2.  Sunlight and heat

Please keep the flowers away from direct sunlight, as strong light and heat over long periods of time can cause damage. Do not store the flowers near windows or heating sources (fireplaces, radiators, etc)

 

  1. Moisture:
Choose a storage area that is dry. Excessive humidity can cause the silk material to deteriorate, so avoid basements, attics, or areas prone to moisture.

Overall, we would recommend fluffing out the flowers upon receipt, and storing in an airtight plastic bag or container in a cupboard/garage/ or storage room.
